Restoration Updates - Fall 2006
So much has taken place since our last
web update, that you'll clearly see the restoration work is nearly complete now.
The roofers completed all wooden shingles in September. All door and
hardware is being painted and hung. R & C Plasterers of New Orleans
has begun to apply the 3 layers of plaster to the Brick-between-Post walls.
Gutter work surrounding the house is nearly complete. Soon all windows
with glass will be installed and the floors are going to be cleaned.
As soon as a room is finished being plastered the painters will move in to do
that. It won't be long before the furnishing and decorative elements
can be installed. Check back soon and find out about our BIG Grand
RE-OPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!
