Specialty Themed Tours
In 1993, over 5,000 pages of documents were found in the French National Archives relating to the people who lived on this historic site. Over 100 oral histories were collected from family members who lived on this plantation and, in her Memories, Laura Locoul wrote detailed accounts of what happened here to her family and other inhabitants.
Based on these original sources, the Laura Plantation Company offers not only its "Creole Family Saga" tour but also 3 special, in-depth themed tours for adult groups.
Reservations are required for all specialty themed tours. Reservations must be made at least one month prior to tour date. All tours require a minimum of 20 guests and a maximum of 30 guests. Admission price for specialty tours is $25.00 per person.
